Connection Tips for Job-Ready CARAPACE Self-Regulating Heating Cable System - Heat-Line Freeze Protection Systems

Connection Tips for Job-Ready CARAPACE Self-Regulating Heating Cable System

CARAPACE is a unique freeze protection system constructed of high-density polyethylene pipe (HDPE) with a self-regulating heating cable extruded directly onto the outer surface of the pipe. The heating cable is then mechanically protected by a high-density polyethylene outer jacket ensuring the heating cable remains in continuous contact with the pipe wall. This unique construction makes CARAPACE ideal for freeze protection of high-pressure or constant-pressure water supply systems.

A common question that we’re asked when working with the Job-Ready CARAPACE system is what connection is recommended and what connection parts are provided with the system. In this month’s vlog we detail the best connection fittings for CARAPACE and what is provided in the system.
