Making an Installation Serviceable

by Matt Roberts

Hello and welcome to the September 2018 Heat-Line Vlog.

Ideally it should whenever possible be common trade practice to install all heating cables in a serviceable location.

This most commonly applies to the Retro-Line system however the Retro-DWS and Retro-FM also have interface fittings which should always remain serviceable. For the ease of discussion for this vlog we will talk about the Retro-Line tee fitting specifically.

If you are unsure about how and where to interface the heating cable into your pipe, it is best to contact Heat-Line or a competent trades person to assist with your particular application.

Listen to Septembers’ video blog and learn directly from a Heat-Line specialist about why installing your heating cable system in a serviceable location is important.
