Heat-Line offers SR cut-to-length heat trace, as well as factory-terminated, job-ready plug-in heat trace systems for roof and gutter applications. These options allow contractors, roofers, electricians, and property owners to select a system based on the required heat trace length, circuit size, installation method, and project conditions.
In this month’s video blog, we look at the power and end seal connection kits available for Heat-Line SR cut-to-length heat trace used in roof and gutter applications.
-Junction box connection kit: Designed to terminate the heat trace inside an electrician-supplied junction box.
-1548-40RGP connection kit: Provides a clean installation for residential and commercial applications with longer heat trace requirements. It includes the components required for the power connection and an end termination.
-Circuit options: The junction box connection kit can be used with 15-amp, 20-amp, and 30-amp circuits in both 120-volt and 240-volt applications.
-SRHC-ES mechanical silicone end seal: For applications requiring an enhanced end-seal solution, the SRHC-ES mechanical silicone end seal provides increased protection and long-term performance.
-Plug-in connection kit: Includes a cold lead, plug, and inline ground-fault protection. It is available in 120-volt and 240-volt, 15-amp configurations.
Watch the video to learn which connection kit is best suited to your roof and gutter heat trace installation.
